Payments and Membership Discounts
All payments are final and will not be refunded.
In order to use the AEI/NAEA Membership discount, a teacher must be a paid member in good standing for the duration between registration and participation in a program.  Any student who is registered using a discount code and whose instructor's membership has lapsed will not have their portfolio adjudicated until the remaining balance is paid or proof of renewed membership is submitted.  If the membership lapse is found after the program registration deadline, AEI reserves the right to place a student on waitlist or deny participation in a program.

Make sure to submit photographs of 8 high quality artworks. Portfolios with less than 8 images will be rejected.

Originality and Copyright
All artworks submitted for AEI programs are expected to be original works created by the student. Artworks that are studies, copies, or otherwise do not substantially transform another artwork are disqualified from entry.  All images must be original work and must not include any copyrighted images. Studies of other artworks or photographs (this includes "fan art") will be rejected or disqualified. Illegal photos, such as those taken on railroad tracks, will also be disqualified.

The evaluation by jurors will be upheld by the program committee.  If you feel an error has been made, you may email the program chair to provide information and seek understanding.
